Today we updated our OpenVZ templates and while doing so, some of the templates were replaced with minimal templates, these are templates that have unnecessary software removed so they use less RAM and take up less space. This morning at 8:42AM EDT, nj1ovz01 had crashed and rebooted itself unexpectedly. Today a critical 0-day exploit was found in the recent OpenVZ kernel so in order to address the exploit we are updating all of our kernels and rebooting our OpenVZ nodes at this time.
