We have added a nginx proxy to ICE0001 to improve performance and lower the loads that Apache has been handling. This change should be completely transparent for all of our clients but in the event you experience anything different we ask that you please open a ticket immediately so we can resolve it. Once the new ICE0001 hardware is in place we will re-evaluate whether the nginx proxy is still needed (depending on how much of an improvement we notice if any).
In addition to this change ICE0001 was rebooted due to a hung process that we were unable to kill. The reboot, along with the nginx proxy is loading websites much faster than before and we are very happy to see ICE0001 running as it was before the virtualization. We are still planning on upgrading all of the hardware on the server in the next week or so (the spare hard drive arrived today and the server is undergoing stress testing tonight).
