We noticed extremely high CPU loads today at around 1000% and due to the extremely high loads we were forced to reboot the server because we were unable to navigate the CLI to find the underlying cause. We will closely monitor the situation and have a few possible cuplrits in mind. We apologize for the minor downtime this reboot has caused you.
UPDATE (12:00AM EST)
The high CPU loads are continuing so we are digging deeper into the problem and will be examining each VPS individually to determine the cause of the high loads (now in excess of 1500%). During this time you may experience some downtime and we would like to apologize for this.
