As some of you have noticed, we made some changes to our website. Most notably, we've consolidated all of our information onto one domain, SecureDragon.net. Now BackupDragon.com and ServerDragon.com redirect to our main website to make things less confusing for our clients and potential clients. We feel it is easier to maintain one name than to juggle multiples and at the very least this method is much better for SEO purposes and for people searching our name in search engines. I hope the new site is as easy to navigate as the original but now it's no longer spanned across 3 different domains.

We've also made some adjustments to our VPS plans:

Due to the recent changes we have made regarding central storage, we have decided to also focus on using Dell Enterprise SAS drives for our OpenVZ plans which offer better performance and reliability over the previous SATA drives we were using but at a higher cost, thus our price per gigabyte is higher than with the much cheaper SATA drives so we had to reduce all of the disk space on each OpenVZ plan by half to ensure that we are not overselling our storage. We have also reduced the pricing by a small amount to fit our new business model. OpenVZ plans are also now on a mirrored hardware RAID instead of a parity-based software RAID for better disk IO and stability.

Our Backup VPS plans have one minor change, we have adjusted the port speed from 100Mbps to 1Gbps for all of our Backup VPS plans. The disk space and pricing has not be adjusted because these plans are hosted on separate servers and are still utilizing the SATA drives for maximum storage capacity.

Lastly, as an added bonus to the users and guests who take the time to read the announcements we post, I would like to announce a new promotion for the next 4 days...
