Today we experienced a 63 minute outage in our Portland location that impacted all of our DDOS protected services as well as the Secure Dragon websites and VPS control panels. Below is the RFO (Reason For Outage) published by our data center:
Saturday 7:25AM PST, one of our distribution switches in Portland experienced a catastrophic crash, possibly due to a Cisco bug. It affected most 100Mbps server customers and several remote protection customers. We were able to recover the switch and all of the services around 08:25AM PST. If you still experience issues with your service please contact us as soon as possible. We will be scheduling a maintenance to upgrade the switch to a more powerful platform, eventually we will be upgrading all 100Mbps servers to 1Gbps.
We apologize for those impacted by this outage and since this exceeded our 99.9% Uptime SLA we are offering SLA credit to all clients impacted. Please open a ticket with our Billing department for this credit to be applied.

Additionally we are reviewing our current webserver setup for our main website and our client area in hopes to keep lines of communication open in the event of another such outage. We also ask that you bookmark or follow us on Twitter as we utilize this for quick communications both when our website is online and offline. https://twitter.com/SecureDragonLLC

Thank you again for you understanding during this inconvenience.
