Due to quite a few tickets from clients who have attempted to pay invoices after their services were terminated, we have changed our system to not terminate services automatically until 37 days after they are due. This will give clients over a month to pay outstanding invoices in the event that they are traveling, in the hospital, unavailable for whatever reason, or unable to pay the invoice at that time. Previously, our system automatically terminated services after 14 days but quite a few people have lost all of their data over the years because they did not pay the invoices within 14 days of being suspended and they did not perform their own backups (all backups we have are automatically deleted when a service is terminated).
With that being said, if you wish to cancel your service please follow the proper procedure to avoid getting additional notifications and invoices that you probably do not want. We don't want to bug you and you don't want to be bugged.
Last but not least, we still have the following policy within our Terms of Service:
We reserve the right to delete any data belonging to an inactive account anytime after seven days of non-payment.
This means that we can manually terminate any services that have an outstanding invoice after 7 days past the due date if needed so if you find that you will be paying your invoice late, please open a ticket with our Billing department and let us know so we can put a note in your account and possible keep your service online depending on the circumstances.
Thank you for your time and we hope this can prevent any loss of data for our clients in the future.
