At this time we have a planned migration for our Denver, CO OpenVZ services scheduled for December 18th, 2015. We will be migrating all OpenVZ VPSs on co1ovz01 to a new SSD powered node hosted in the same location. At this time all new orders will be provisioned on the new SSD node.

Here is a copy of the e-mail we sent to our clients:

You are receiving this e-mail because you have one or more VPSs on a server that is being replaced this month with a brand new SSD powered node. We plan on mass migrating all VPSs currently on co1ovz01 to the new node on December 18th starting at 10PM EST (UTC-5).

Your IP will remain the same but a reboot will most likely be required. The downtime will be minimal and range from 30 seconds to 10 minutes depending on the amount of data and VPS activity.

If you would like to migrate your VPS early to either take advantage of the SSD performance or to accommodate your own schedule, you can do so inside Wyvern by selecting "co1ovz02" in the dropdown menu (HOW TO: https://securedragon.net/clients/knowledgebase/197/HOW-TO-Migrate-your-VPS.html). Please note that the new node has only been online for about a day and a half so you may want to wait another day or two if you plan on doing the self migration option to ensure stability (we did perform a 48 hour burn in test before shipping the new server to Denver). You can view the current uptime and other details for all of our nodes at the following two links:

If you have any questions regarding the new node, the planned migration, or anything else then please open a ticket with our Support department and we can assist you further. Thank you.

In order to allow clients to migrate from co1ovz01 to co1ovz02 we have to keep migrations enabled on co1ovz01 so any clients who migrate to co1ovz01 between now and the 18th will not receive an e-mail notification about the migration so this announcement will serve as notice to all clients about the upcoming migration.
