We have noticed a very nasty bug in Ubuntu 11.10 that causes the init process to max out the CPU to 100% whenever the VPS is powered on. We have disabled the Ubuntu 11.10 template and ask that all Ubuntu users DO NOT MANUALLY UPDATE TO 11.10! Doing so will result in maxing out your CPU to 100% and the only fix is to wipe your VPS with a brand new OS. If we find VPSs experiencing this bug we will be powering them off until you re-install a different OS, repeat offenders will not get a warning and we will install a different OS for you.
