Due to multiple issues in the past with the current version of our nginx proxy, we have decided to remove it and replace it with varnish instead. Varnish was developed to be an HTTP accelerator unlike nginx which is designed to be a webserver so by design varnish is the obvious choice as our frontend proxy when nginx began to interfere with our client's websites.
We have noticed a large improvement moments after installing it and hope our clients will also benefit from the faster page loading and less bandwidth usage through the caching methods. IF you have any questions, concerns, or issues please open a ticket and we can work with you in resolving these. The varnish plugin we are using even offers the ability to easily bypass varnish for select websites so that is always an option.
