This is just an information announcement that we will be working on our cabinet and network on Wednesday (6/20) from 9PM-11PM. There should be no downtime as we are failing over to our backup router but some interuption may occur (in the past the interuption was less than 1 second and resulted in 1 ping drop). Here is a list of the maintenance we will be performing:
- Transition from copper to fiber uplinks.
- Install additional network cables in our cabinet (will not impact production servers).
- Replace current PDU cables (all servers have redundant power so no outage is planned for any servers).
- Redo cable management with new PDU and network cables.
