Just a quick announcement to accompany the e-mails our clients received.
IPv6
IPv6 was enabled on June 4th for all VPS nodes. All new VPS orders will come with 16 IPv6 addresses and all current client may open a ticket requesting IPv6 addresses be added to their current VPSs. At this time we do not offer IPv6 support with our cPanel hosting plans until cPanel is able to support it. All new Backup VPSs come with 1 IPv6 addresses and current clients may request it at this time.
Backup VPS Bandwidth
We have doubled the bandwidth of our Backup VPS plans from 4x the storage amount to 8x the storage amount (so a Backup VPS with 100GB of disk space went from 400GB of bandwidth to 800GB of bandwidth). All clients have been upgraded to the new bandwidth levels. If you had been paying for extra bandwidth or had another arrangement with us, please open a support ticket and we will work to ensure you are not getting a reduction in service or paying more than you have to.
The reason for this change is because we were exploring the possibility of offering unmetered Backup VPS plans but capped at 20Mbps (since some clients were using up all of their bandwidth very early in the month), but after much discussion it was decided that we did not want to go the unmetered route and compromised on increasing our bandwidth while keeping the 100Mbps port speed (with no cost increase).
