Here is the e-mail sent out to clients currently hosted on our Los Angeles, CA OpenVZ node:

As you may already know, we have been planning a migration to a new data center in California since last month but we had a slight issue during this process which has now been resolved so we're moving forward with the migration and now have a date set for it. All VPSs on our current California server will be migrated to our new SSD node hosted in Los Angeles, California with QuadraNet on March 27th (Friday). Unfortunately since we are dealing with multiple networks and coordinating IP announcements and routing with 2 different data centers, we do not have specific times for the migration or how long the outage may or may not be. We are taking steps to reduce the downtime during this migration but we still cannot estimate the length of the outage or even if one will occur while the networks are cut-over.

Since your IPs are staying the same, there is no work required on your end during this migration and if all goes according to plan your VPS will be migrated over and continue functioning like normal with your current IPs. A reboot of your VPS will be required during the migration so please be sure to check your VPS once the migration is complete to ensure it is working properly.

If you have any questions regarding this, please open a ticket with our Support department and we can discuss this with you. If you wish to move your VPS to another location and move it back after the migration, please open a ticket and we can accommodate this for you also (at this time we've disabled migrations to or from our CA node while we regularly synchronize the data between the current and the new node). During the migration process, you can follow us on Twitter for any updates we might have including any delays or issues we might be experiencing.
