We were alerted by our monitoring that our cabinet lost connectivity around 9:50PM EST tonight and we enlisted the help of the data center staff to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. We are unsure what occurred during the initial 40 minutes after we contacted them but a reboot of the router eventually fixed the issue after we contacted them again.

At this time the cause of the outage is unsure but we are setting up a secondary network Sunday night to allow us to remote into our router even if the primary link is down. We suspenct there is a problem with the copper to fiber adapter we are using and will be switching away from copper on our new network once the switches and routers are replaced.
