We would like to inform everybody that all of our current Xen PV VPSs will be moved to a new hardware node on Saturday (12/17) beginning at midnight (12:00AM EST). The migrations will be cold migrations meaning they will be offline during the migration process. Each migration will be handled manually and the amount of downtime will depend on the size of the LVM (Xen hard drive), not the amount of space being used. We will be migrating the VPSs in numerical order and only one at a time so there is no exact ETA on when a specific VPS will be offline. We are expecting the migration to last the whole weekend due to the inability to script this process like we do for OpenVZ.

The migration windows will be between 12AM and 5AM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning (if needed). If a migration is in progress, it may exceed the 5AM window cutoff.

After being migrated to the new node, each VPS's disk, bandwidth, and CPU resources will be increased to conform with our new Xen PV plans (to be announced).

We apologize for this inconvenience but we feel that the increase in performance and resources is worth this one time event.
