Our newest backup server, gold02, arrived in Denver, CO on Christmas Eve (a Merry Christmas to Handy Networks). The server was racked and configured today and is currently syncing up with gold01 now (it was synced before we shipped it but a lot of data has changed since December). We are also waiting for our IPs to go live in Denver so we can begin configuring it for VPSs but we expect this to be completed by next week. Once the IPs are live we will add more stock for our Backup VPS plans so stay tuned.
This marks the first of many servers we will be shipping to Denver in the next few months and we are already very happy with the location we've chosen (Handy Networks LLC). We will begin with Backup VPS nodes and some VPN servers but expect to have a OpenVZ node available by February. We are still uncertain about the route to take for our DDOS Protected services at this time but we will be exploring this further once we are more situated in Denver (Joe is expected to moving there in April at the latest).
Current Backup VPS clients will receive an e-mail shortly regarding the changes they will be experiencing in the near future (such as an IP change).
