The bandwidth usage bar is calculated differently than the bandwidth graph. The bandwidth usage bar is generated every 10 minutes while the bandwidth graph is generated every 5 minutes using a faster, but not 100% reliable, method.
The graph is used as a quick reference for the past 24 hours and, as long as there is no tampering by the VPS owner, is 100% accurate.
The bandwidth usage bar is used by our backend system to determine things like overages. This uses a more reliable method (cannot be adjusted by the VPS owner) but takes longer to process for multiple nodes so we have this run every 10 minutes.
If you need additional bandwidth monitoring or feel that our methods are not accurate, please install your own bandwidth monitoring system on your VPS and provide us with the output to compare against.
