Why is my download speed so slow for my VPS?

For KVM plans, please try making the following changes to your VPS. For OpenVZ, please open a ticket with our Support department to investigate.
Add to the /etc/sysctl.conf file:

net.core.rmem_max=16777216
net.core.wmem_max=16777216
net.ipv4.tcp_rmem=4096 87380 16777216
net.ipv4.tcp_wmem=4096 65536 16777216

After adding the above lines to the bottom of the file, you can either reboot or type sysctl -p for the changes to take effect.
