Summary:

Cisco has confirmed the presence of bug CSCut40421 in the latest version of Cisco's IOS which powers our new routing equipment at PHX01 (installed during the the recent scheduled network upgrade).  Cisco TAC has put in place a work around to temporarily negate the impact of this bug.  This emergency maintenance window has been declared to allow a permanent fix to be performed.  Cisco's engineers assure us that this permanent bug fix will resolve some of the lingering issues that some customers have seen at our PHX01 datacenter with suboptimal connection rates, throughput, and some failed connections.
