Our IPv4 addresses went offline shortly before 1AM in our North Carolina location and we promptly opened a ticket when we were unable to find the cause of the outage. We received a response that there was scheduled maintenance tonight to replace a hardware controller card on one of their switches. We are trying to determine why we did not receive the notice they sent out but current ETA is 30 minutes until resolution.

Here is the notice they included in our ticket:

Details

CentriLogic will be upgrading the hardware controller cards on one of our switches to improve stability, redundancy and capacity on our network. During the maintenance window customers may experience brief periods of instability as routes fail over to alternate devices and re-converge throughout the internet.

We will continue to monitor our services there and will provide an update via Twitter once everything is back online. We apologize to those impacted by this outage and will try to find the disconnect in communication to provide better notice before such maintenance.
